Heading out to the climate march at Queen's Park, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'll bring my Oak sapling and a bag of acorns. I will be handing them out, free to anyone who will plant and nurture them.
These seeds come from a local 100 year old local oak tree. I have much hope for these little miracles. They can make such a difference towards healing the earth and the biosphere we all need to survive. Each average mature tree that exists on this planet soaks up enough carbon to combat some of the effects of driving a gasoline powered car 14,000 km. and provides enough oxygen in a year for four people to breathe. Such mighty warriors. Let's see how they do!
